Study On The Developmental Of Coke Terminal Co., Ltd. Of Tianjin Port

With economic globalization and economic development,the function of the modern ports have caused great change,from the initial transfer of different transportation to become the important nodes in modern logistics.The diversity of port's function makes port more and more obvious to promote the development of cities,regions and economic of the country.Meanwhile,the development of the ports also creat some necessary conditions for the port industry and attracting foreign investments. It means that port has become an important basic industry of national economy, it is some valuable strategic resources in the economic globalization process.Tianjin Coke Terminal Co., Ltd was established in 1999, it is the largest professional modern coke terminal in the world. After ten years of operation, the company has made a major breakthrough in it's scale and economic benefit. Now it has become a main bulk handling company in TianJing Port Group with coke operation as its brand. However, from 2009,due to financial crisis, the demand for coal in domestic market has cut down,coke exports almost hit bottom,causing throughput of the company a substantial decline. At the same time, the company operating capacity of existing facilities and equipments are not suited to the needs of the current market situation, it's Operating capacities also face significant challenges, urging to be upgraded and imporved.Therefore, this thesis starts from the actual situation of port development, through comprehensive, systematic, objective and scientific analysis in internal and external development environment factors and conditions of the company, summarizing it's strengths and weaknesses. According to some necessary analysis in the goods market and using different kinds of methods to forecast the main goods'throughput of the company during the next decade. On this basis, the company's development targets and Countermeasures are formulated, to promote the company's sustained,rapid and coordinated development. And this study has certain guding significance for the development of Tianjin Coke Terminal Co., Ltd.
