Expressway has many benefits to us in many aspects,and it is also characterized by its great investment, big loan stress, long reclaim term and so on. The requirement of project Economic evaluation becomes demanding. It is a new program that is most worth for us to study that how to carry out economic analysis reasonably under new situation, how to reveal the economic feature of project accurately, how to make correct project decision, how to play the role of resource with high limit, how to ensure that resource gets the economic effect by using them reasonably.The calculation of economic cost and economic benefit is the basic of economic evaluation, traffic forecast is the the basic of economic cost and economic benefit. On the basis of having the references of the national and international theory and contents of the Economic evaluation, taking the gradually integrity market system as background, combining nation economic assessment characteristics, with integration of theory with scientific, practical, strong operating principle, the three key problems are analyzed further in this thesis, such as economic benefit, transfer traffic volume forecast and the economic cost in nation economic assessment. In calculating economic cost, studied economic cost to distinguish principle and form, a method of determining shadow prices was put forward, In addition, analyzed and researched quantitative the indirect cost of Economic costs . In the traffic volume forecast, focused on the ideas and ways of transfer traffic volume forecast , build the appropriate model and determined it. In economic benefit evaluation, studied and determined the content of economic benefit, solved the hard ration problem which is in some kinds of typical calculations of economic benefit. Some models have been applied in actual work and also have got a good result.
