HT Company is a startups company which was founded in September 2007. The business for HT Company is designing, manufacturing and selling the pump products. And the pump products are mainly used in petrochemical, power, oil & gas, water processing and agriculture industries. As the startups company, HT Company has the excellent management team, strong technical knowledge and the excellent product quality. But HT Company also faces the problems that the company brand is not well-known, and the sales team is not strong etc. So far China is developing its industrialization very quickly, and the government will push the plan for the change and revival for China equipment manufacturing industry in the period of "Twelfth Five Years Plan". That will produce the huge marketing for the requirements for the domestic pump products. So HT Company should not only deal with the current survival issues, but also take the chance that the current pump marketing is booming. HT Company should overtake its disadvantage and the threat on the development, and use the scientific marketing theory to find the suitable marketing strategy for its current development. By this way, HT Company can catch the marketing opportunity and strengthen its advantage, and increase the marketing share continually in the future.This paper analyzes the external & internal environment, market segmentation, selection of the target marketing and market positioning, and figure out the suitable marketing strategy for the development of HT Company. This paper also advises how to execute the marketing strategy.This paper uses Port's Five Forces, SWOT matrix and 4Ps marketing theory to do the marketing research for HT Company. With these theories and research, HT Company can build up the suitable marketing strategy, maintain the current marketing share and develop the new marketing with positioning the marketing demand.The research for this paper will be very useful for the marketing strategy for HT Company. And it will also be useful for the domestic pump manufacturers in China for the marketing strategy.
