Equipment Manufacturing Companies Technology Chain Construction Research

Equipment manufacturing industry is the pillar industry of China's national economy, which is technical complexity and highly drives of the upstream and downstream industries. The overall technical level and capacity is the important indicator of a country's comprehensive national strength. The development of equipment manufacturing industry in recent years has been the focus of our nation and our government has developed a series of strategic planning for the revitalization and development of the industry.The idea of technology chain can clearly describe the level of systems and elements of equipment manufacturing industry. In recent years, technology innovation for equipment manufacturing industry mainly focused on innovative models, technical activities, etc., but the research of the specific process and method to construct technology chain was not enough. Therefore, based on the technical characteristics of equipment manufacturing industry, this paper studied the mode of construction, process and the factors affecting the performance, and can provide some theoretical guidance for the practice of equipment manufacturing industry companies technology innovation of our country.This paper used the idea of modular innovation and technology chain theory as the basis, through literature reading and field research methods to research on the technology chain of equipment manufacturing companies. Firstly, considering the characteristics of the equipment manufacturing technical systems, summarize the structure and technology knowledge content of the technology chain. Secondly, after the analysis of China's equipment manufacturing industry current situation, proposed two possible technology chain construction modes and the key points in each mode. Thirdly, summarized the general process of the equipment manufacturing technology chain construction, and describe the main tasks of each stage and knowledge management activities. Then, through an empirical study to research on the influencing factors to technology chain construction, extracted five factors for equipment manufacturing enterprises technology chain construction, analyzed the affection of these factors in different modes of technology chain construction. The results supported the proposed assumptions basically, providing some reference for enterprises to choose technology chain construction mode and the implementation of the path. Finally, in the development of China's equipment manufacturing environment, with the foregoing analysis, put forward some measures and recommendations of the future development, and summarized the conclusions and the lack of this study, proposed the prospects for the future theoretical research.
