| Organizational commitment and employee engagement are the two important concepts in the organizational behavior and human resources management. They are also one of the most attracting hotspot in enterprises. An empirical study on the relationship between organizational commitment and employee engagement has extremely important significance for the development of management theory and the practice of efficient management in enterprise. In this thesis, we use the method of surveys and interviews to investigate the content, structure and overall level of the agriculture-related enterprises' organizational commitment and employee engagement, as well as the relationship between organizational commitment and employee engagement. According to the research conclusion, we make corresponding suggestions about how to improve the agriculture-related enterprises'organizational commitment and employee engagement.Based on the previous studies and the data analysis from the questionnaire survey, we get the following conclusions:the organizational commitment of Agro-related enterprise includes four aspects, such as ideal commitment, continuance commitment, affective commitment and choice commitment. The employee engagement is divided into seven parts which are organizational identification, commitment, energy, hard work, task focus, focus, internalized values. The overall level of organizational commitment is in medium decline towards upper level. The overall level of employee engagement is on a comparatively ideal level. We test the difference significance of the organizational commitment and employee engagement in employee's variables. The research also discovers the positive correlation between them. Organizational commitment has strong forecast ability on employee engagement. The four factors of organizational commitment have significant impact on the seven factors of employee engagement in varying degrees.According to the above conclusions, we pertinently put forward suggestions: Agriculture-related enterprises must make different rules and regulations according to the employees'individual differences and the company's environment; If companies aspire to improve the employee engagement levels, they should be actively concerned about the level of organizational commitment; Companies should adopt different strategies when they have each particular emphases in the factors of organizational commitment and employee engagement; Companies should measure the employee' level of organizational commitment and employee engagement periodically, establish and perfect the performance evaluation system and salary management system. |
