Study On The Technology Of Methiocarb Study On Synthesis And Biologocal Activity Of Tetronic Acid Compounds

Carbamate compounds have been found to show wide spread biological activities, many of them have been developed and used as pesticide. The synthesis routes of new carbamate insecticide have been discussed and designed its industry product scheme.The feasible process was probed into the synthesis of methiocarb. We have synthesiszed the methiocarb and its intermediates successfully. The technology of synthesizing the carbamate insecticide methiocarb has also been studied. The process development of the intermediates of 3,5-dimethylphenyl acetate, 3,5-dimethyl-4- (methylthio)phenyl acetate, 3,5-dimethyl-4-(methylthio)phenol and methiocarb was optmized. The effects of the reaction time, the reaction temperature, molar ratio of reactants and suitable solvent have been compared and discussed emphatically. the better synthetic process was provided. Procedure for the methiocarb was developed. Their structures were confirmed by means of 1H NMR, GC- MS.Tetronic acide compounds have been the most important of types of acaricide in tetronic acide compounds. In this thesis, different active groups of action mechanism were inducted into the tetronic acide compounds according to the concept of bioisosterism. Nine novel tetronic acide compounds in this types of structure were designed and synthesized. This is summarized as follows: Their structures were confirmed by means of IR, 1H NMR, MS and EA. Spectral properties and biological activities were also analyzed. The results of acaricidal biological test show that most of these compounds possess good activity, and several have high potential value as novel acaricide.
