Mine hoist is the important equipment in mine, known as “throat of themine”. The operation conditions directly affect the mine production capacityOnce the hoist goes wrong, it will cause a paralysis of mine production, andeven cause harm to the staff, therefore, operation condition of the hoist hasalways been the main object of Supervising in the process of safety production,the effective operational status monitoring and fault diagnosis is the premise ofsafety in production.In the early stages of the papers does an analysis of the hoist monitoringcondition and fault diagnosis development situation. And in combination withconditions of project practical application places, as well as the factors of themining area of communication form, we finally select the Ethernetcommunication as the connection mode of this system, put forward the hoistremote online monitoring and fault diagnosis research goal.In this paper, we mainly combine the design thought of informationcollection and information fusion in the process of system design. The SVMcombining with D-S evidence algorithm model of information fusion is putforward in the fault diagnosis problems, which fully realize the complementaryadvantages of both methods and good results have been achieved. In this paper, the main work contents are as follows:(1) Study the practical significance of hoist monitoring and fault diagnosis,from the present research situation,we summarize the deficiency of the study.(2) Analysis and research the components and working principle of hoist,Summed up the various parts of the hoist fault type and finally put forward themonitoring and fault diagnosis methods.(3) Elaborate on the various parts of the hardware equipment selectionmethods and levels of software components and using methods.(4) Based on multi-information fusion theory, combining SVM with D-Sevidence theory, we established the model of fault diagnosis, and using thesimulation data do fault diagnosis research.(5) After fully simulated in the laboratory, the set of monitoring and faultdiagnosis system has been successfully installed and used in the mining area.This system’s innovation is that, system achieve the mine informationfusion and data management of three remote real-time online monitoring, whichwork in different regions; This system has a big room for expansion andintegration space with other mining area’s systems; The system can achievemonitoring information WEB release in the mine network; The SVM combinedwith D-S evidence theory of fault diagnosis model make a good realize of faultdiagnosis; Meanwhile, the system also has a data storage function which canfacilitate the establishment of the hoist system failure database, which providevaluable information for more in-depth research and provide better protection for hoist’s safe operation standards.
