Along with the deep hole processing technology is widely used in the field of aviation,weapons, metallurgy and other fields, the precision and stability of the deep hole processingresearch received more and more attention. However, the BTA deep hole drilling processingstatus is diverse, and the mechanism is complex, the system of BTA drilling mechanicscharacteristic and the stability of the drill pipe research have become the research hotspot andkey problems in the deep hole processing. So this article will study the dynamic and stabilityof the drill bit and the drill pipe of BTA drill on the basis of previous studies.At first this paper has carried on the stress analysis to BTA drilling, deep hole drillingmechanics model is established, the system of BTA deep hole drilling in the axial feed force,torque and power are calculated, and the stability of the drill in the four different types ofguide block arrangement scheme for the BTA deep hole drilling system are calculated.Secondly, the determination method of the middle tooth Angle, the influence of the toothAngle and middle tooth position Angle of drilling force and two guide block pressure, theinfluence of fault location of the drill tooth Angle and the distribution of the guide blockstability of drilling are analyzed by instance. Thirdly, the pipe eddy situation of the BTA drillin the process of drilling was analyzed, the pure rolling tool trajectory was modeled bymathematical method, and the typical vortex trajectory of drill pipe has carried on thesimulation analysis. Finally, the nonlinear motion equation considered the mass eccentricity,nonlinear stiffness, dynamic cutting force and the gravity was established using the d’alembert’s principle, and the simulation analysis using the Matlab was carried out.In this paper, we provide certain theory reference for the value of the BTA drill in the Angle of each blade and guide block,provide a method of validation for the stability of BTAdrill, and obtained the factors influencing the stability of drill pipe DPR, relative damping,and the scope of eccentric mass. They have important practical significance for thedevelopment of deep hole machining technology.
