The objective of this project is to develop an on-site emergency equipment applied to ammonia leakage accidents, make key breakthroughs in rapid gas collection technology, low-temperature plasma technology and adsorption purification technology, focus on solving the current problems led by ammonia leakage, such as backwardness in emergency technology, longer duration of hazard, direct emission of pollutants into the atmosphere and other issues.This thesis firstly analyze the probable position and the maximum amount of ammonia leakage based on spot investigation. According to the characteristics of liquid ammonia leakage, design emergency disposal process aiming to achieve zero pollution emission, the disposal process contains rapid gas collection unit, low-temperature plasma unit and adsorption purification unit. This thesis mainly focuses on rapid gas collection technology and adsorption purification technology, and designs gas collection equipment and activated carbon adsorption equipment.The rapid gas collection equipment, which includes foam absorbing tower, spray tower and de-entrainment tower, is expected to absorb the large amount of ammonia leakage and achieve gas-liquid separation so that the exhaust gas can meet the demands of the next purification units. The activated carbon adsorption equipment is designed to achieve harmless exhaust emission.This thesis also designs a monitoring system to achieve real-time monitoring on purification process. Based on this, analyze the ammonia leakage accidents and make ammonia leakage experiments to verify the purification efficiency of this equipment.
