The Oil Traits And Physical Traits Of Sea Island Cotton(Gossypium Barbadense L.)Seed

In this paper,20sea island cotton varieties of cottonseed of2013in different flowering dates, different parts of8long branch of sea island cotton seed in2012, Different parts of18zero fruit branch of sea island cotton in2013, sea island cotton seed of between DJC-5and Giza-80in2012and2013as the experimental material, analysis of the characteristics of between physical traits (seed index, shell index, kernel index, kernel/shell, shelling percentage) and oil traits (kernel oil content, seed oil content, kernel oil index, seed oil index) and their relationship. The results showed that:(1) Seed oil index and kernel oil index of sea island cotton exists obvious genetic variation,Six varieties of high quality sea island cotton were screened initially through the test, and the optimal oil traits of these six varieties was on July5th, followed by june30th and July20th. Moreover, the correlation analysis showed that the interaction of physical traits and oil traits of cotton seed was also concluded, which can affect cotton seed quality jointly, and cotton seed oil traits were regulated by its physical traits.(2) The long fruit branch of sea island cotton seed selected physical traits and oil traits of optimal were Pima S-5, Giza-80and Giza-88in2012, The optimal part of physical traits and oil traits of cottonseed were the lowest part. Correlation analysis showed that interaction of physical traits and oil traits of cottonseed of8long fruit branch of sea island cotton was also concluded, which can affect cottonseed quality jointly, and the changes of physical traits are closely related with its seed oil traits(3) The zero fruit branch of sea island cotton seed selected physical traits and oil traits of optimal are situated on the cotton mian boll of the the lowest part and the middle lower part in2013, preliminary screening oil traits and physical traits of the optimal species for DJC-3. Correlation analysis showed that physical traits and oil traits of cottonseed of18zero fruit branch sea island cotton were significantly positively correlated, and cottonseed oil traits were affected by its physical traits.(4) Physical traits and oil traits of cottonseed were in2013better than in2012, the lowest part of cotton are better than the middle lower part, Superior variety of physical traits and oil traits were zero fruit branch of sea island cotton DJC-5. Correlation analysis of cotton seed physical traits and oil traits showed that they are all interaction with each other and common influence of cottonseed quality, and the changes of physical traits are closely related with its seed oil traits.
