Coalbed methane is of great use,and can be used as natural gas after processing featuring abundance,high recovery rate and heat release.The use of PSA can concentrate low density gas. Because of the electrostatic discharge and other security risks in the process,it can not be applied to the actual production,resulting in direct emptying, waste of resources and environmental pollution.In this paper,the ESD protection of low concentration coalbed methane PSA devices was studied, and the electrostatic motor starting process of PSA devices was also analyzed. In the PSA apparatus, electrostatic charge is mainly derived from contact with live, where there is a repeated collision and friction between the gas and the walk the gas and particulate impurities and foreign particles and particles. That resulted in the generation of electrostatic charge, when accumulated to a certain amount of electrostatic charge generated electrostatic discharge, causing the explosion,In this paper, the pure air as simulated gas, the use of electrostatic induction detector static pressure swing adsorption unit distributions were measured and analyzed, and the distribution of the electrostatic voltage swing adsorption unit and proposed static control measures in accordance with its electrostatic voltage distribution obtained the following conclusions:(1) When using a homemade anti-static carbon molecular sieve pressure swing adsorption towers static voltage is significantly less than the use of ordinary carbon molecular sieve and activated carbon adsorbent, higher safety performance. When the gas superficial velocity is higher than0.5m·s-1or so, pressure swing adsorption unit tower electrostatic voltage electrostatic discharge risk; when the gas superficial velocity at0.9m-s-1above, pipeline static voltage instability and the voltage higher value, easily lead to electrostatic discharges. When the particle content of the gas is higher than2g/m3, average particle size greater than1.5mm, the electrostatic voltage is higher than the limit value, the higher the risk of electrostatic discharge.(2) The introduction of mechanical polishing and chemical polishing on the smoothed surface of the wall, effectively reduce the electrostatic voltage, while the static voltage fluctuations also significantly reduced. Static control valve at the effect is more pronounced. By static grounding, pressure swing adsorption unit pipeline electrostatic charge leakage and effectively dissipate electrostatic voltage basically stable, static control effect is obvious. The use of carbon black in rubber seals, static voltage fluctuation around the valve switch is small, fluctuations in the value can be controlled within0.5KV, static voltage stability is improved, but there is a certain decrease in the electrostatic voltage.
