Epoxy compound is a kind of very useful chemical synthesized intermediate, which widely applied to petrochemist-. fine chemical and organic synthesis. So the preparation of epoxy compound is one of the hotspot. Epoxidation is of great important in chemical synthesis, it is also widely applied in industry.At present, the industry generally use the chlorhydrin method and the method of super-acid to synthesis epoxy compound. There are several disadvantages of these methods, such as the low reaction selectivity and yield, the poor quality and stability, what’s more the environmental pollution is very serious. Therefore, how to use clean oxygen source (such as hydrogen peroxide)and environmental friendly process to realize the reaction of epoxy, which is also an industrial production problem to be solved, by more and more people to take seriously,.Epoxidized oil is mainly used as plasticizers in polyvinyl chloride polymer materials, which now accounts for over60%of epoxy plasticizers, there are two main solvent and solvent-free method. Using Benzene as a solvent, have a long production process and investment, environmental pollution, poor product quality. Now this process has been eliminated.Using Soybean oil agent ring-oxidants which reaction of hydrogen peroxide with formic acid or acetic acid. The catalyst often used concentrated sulfuric acid and organic acid.It is maybe environmental pollution, and have poor product quality and stability The experiment of epoxidized oil as raw material, with hydrogen peroxide for oxygen source. We do a lot of work of the reaction of epoxy, including of the dosage of hydrogen peroxide, reaction time, solvent consumption, catalyst of the recovery and recycling, and micro response up in the process of production of the material balance and all kinds of other factors for the detailed investigation and study. Through the experiment to determine the optimum conditions as follows:the reaction time is6h, the hydrogen peroxide and raw material of a double Moore ratio is1.2:1, the response in the recovery of catalyst is70%or more, catalyst can recycle three times, single income product epoxy value basically unchanged.The epoxy fatty acid methyl esters preparation process of the new method is very simple, and the reaction process friendly to environment; the product quality and stability is good.
