In recent years, there are many kinds of the hot-melt adhesive, which are widely used in our life and applied in the manufacturer. More and more attention has been paid to researching the hot-melt adhesive. One of the major challenges in hot-melt adhesive preparation has been the ability to increase environmental friendliness and adhesion properties of environment friendly hot-melt adhesives. It is imperative that the develop-ment of environmentally friendly hot-melt adhesive meet the public demand. In this paper, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is used as the main component of the hot-melt adhesive. TPU has excellent wear resistance, oil resistance, cold resistance and adhesion. However, its high price limits range of application. Some polymer materials which are cheaper price and have many better properties are mixed with TPU in order to prepare good elasticity, excellent adhesion properties and low cost of environmentally friendly hot-melt. Macroscopically, we can test the tensile strength, elongation at break, modulus of elasticity, hardness and peel strength of the material. Microscopicly, we can research and analyze the relationship between the internal structure and properties of the hot-melt adhesive by FTIR, TGA and SEM. Three aspects of the paper were studies in the following:The first system was component forms by TPU/PVC, TPU/PVC/CPE and TPU/PVC/CPE/138rosin resin/nano-CaCO3. The mixing parameters were160℃/30rpm/5min to preparation of samples for testing. The second system was component forms by TPU/PP, TPU/PP/EVA and TPU/PP/EVA/138rosin resin/nano-CaC03. The mixing parameters were180℃/30rpm/5min to preparation of samples for testing. The third system was component forms by TPU/HDPE, TPU/HDPE/PET and TPU/HDPE/PET/138rosin resin/nano-CaCO3. The mixing parameters were170℃/30rpm/5min to preparation of samples for testing.The auxiliary components such as antioxidant1010and PEG6000were added in the banburying of the above materials. Following is the test conclusion:The first system:when the proportion is TPU:PVC=9:1and TPU:PVC:CPE=30:20:7.5, they have with optimum performance. The second system:when the proportion is TPU:PP=8:2and TPU:PP:EVA=30:20:5, they have with optimum performance. The third system:when the proportion is TPU:HDPE=8:2and TPU:HDPE:PET=30:20:2.5, they have with optimum performance.In summary, we can reduce its costs but get excellent performance product by physical blending modification so that it is applied to industrial production and can be used for life.
