With advances in industrial design and simulation, mechanical simulation has a high practical value in mechanical manufacturing and assembly, etc, therefore people in different areas has been proposed to use a computer to simulate the mechanical entity, in order to achieve a better understanding, design and operation of the machine. Virtual reality technology can widely used in the fields of machine design, simulation training, equipment exhibition and sales, etc, through virtual reality technology, can realize mechanical simulation of, in particular the effect of virtual assembly system development and machine internal operation status. Printing machine has the characteristic of complicated structure, high precision and not easy to dismounting, etc. now digital printing development fast, but in mechanical design and training machine past, because of the equipment sealed structure, difficult to observe and training. In this respect, this paper presents the solutions for development digital printing machine simulation system, to meet people the demand of appearance observation and virtual assembly development of the printer, now this system would mainly applied in the teaching and training aspects.Design and develop progress of the digital printing machine simulation system, now used Fuji Xerox5065as the prototype, used the software3ds-Max as modeling tools for modeling the overall and internal structure of the equipment. Then through relevant optimization processing, last respectively using virtual reality platform VR-Platform for design and develop virtual assembly for external model interaction, and using Virtools design and interactive the virtual printing process of the equipment internal part, two virtual reality platforms respectively trial and development, jointly build the digital printing machine simulation system.Final develop progress shows that3ds-Max and VR-Platform combination can effectively reduce the time of the system development, implement functions of installation exhibition, introduced component, step-by-step explanations, and other functions, and construct a virtual mechanical assembly process of the digital printing machine; The combination of3ds Max and Virtools, using a variety of development module of Virtools, can improve the internal processes of various ideas, final system effect and content will be more perfect. In brief, this system building provides a platform to users for understand printing machine structure and printing processes, operating components and provides a relative implementation method and basis for mechanical simulation system construction.
