The water source’s identification is the key to recognize the realization of gasreservoir’s gas-water activity regulation, reasonably adjust the proper productionsystem and make the plan of the corresponding measurements of water usages. TheSudong gas reservoir is a typical three-low gas reservoir, and it use overall fracturingmethod before the production. After fracturing, the crisscross of the natural fracturesand the artificial fracture lead to the gas well produce water unconventionally. In theprocess of fast operation and high speed development, production logging are seldomimplemented. For lacking production logging data which leads to unable to determinethe gas water interface and difficult to determine the type of water source and thenleads to flood control measures is not accurate and a large number of gas well producewater explosively even stop production. Therefore, identifying the block’s problemthat research on water source is the key point.Aiming at the shortage of production logging data in the Sudong41-33gasreservoir, the water source identification method is proposed:Firstly, through the collation of gas reservoir production data, this paper usedproduction dynamic data method, well completion logging interpretation method,producing water gas ratio method and output salinity method to identify water sourcepreliminarily. The well groups of4different water characteristics were dividedaccording to the water invasion method and the location of the well.Secondly, the method that using water invasion characteristic parameters isproposed to do the water source identification, while the missing production loggingdata is replaced. Through analyzing water invasion manner and water output rule, thispaper conduct a study. Passing the comprehensive evaluation of water energy, waterinflux and water activity level for these well group, identify headwater of each gas wellwhich producing water in the block.Finally, referring advice of field specialists, this paper are going to screen, classifyand count seven parameters including Water-output, WGR, salinity, well completionlogging interpretation, transient logging interpretation curve, water-invasion propertyfrom different kinds of gas wells which producing water so that this paper can developthe headwater rapid identification standards suitably for Sudong gas field.The classification and management strategies of different water sources are proposed by using the water source identification results and according to the dynamicfeatures and water invasion characteristics of different water sources:Edge Water source well is mainly governed by controlling water, later governwith Drainage technology. The reasonable pressure difference and the production weredetermined by establishing the two-phase stable interfacial flow model of gas water.The interlayer water source well is also governed by control water. And the criticaloutput was optimized by Chaperson method. Finally, the layer water is used drainageas the main method.In this paper, Limin-model was chosed according to the down hole throttle of theSudong gas field and analysis several Critical liquid carrying flow models such as theTurner-model, Limin-model and so on. Then, this paper use PEoffice software toevaluate adaptability and design parameter on several commonly used productionprocess. The optimization pipe string and foaming process were chosed, based onconsidering shaft features, dynamic characteristics of production, and formationcharacteristics at the same time.Field application shows that water rapid identification standards can quickly andeffectively identifying the water source in Sudong gas field and raise the reasonableand feasible flood control measures. However, the accuracy of the database system isstill to be improved as this standard is more combined with the experience and thesupport is not formed.
