The proper ratio of injection to production(RIP) of water invasion reservoir is very important for maintaining reasonable formation pressure, for using the natural energy to a maximum degree and for water cue to stabilize oil production .The material balance method has been used widely to forcast the RIP, which does not consider the complicated characteristics when fluid is flowing through the porous media underground and need not much information. Therefore, it is very easy to use. But the optimization method, based on mathematical programming theory, can make the accumulative oil production reach best under some constrain conditions, by varing the material balance equation and the RIP in the two ways refered above, and complete the following researches: Calculate the aquifer influx when non-steady state water invasion in the water invasion reservoir which is oversaturation, then examine the reservoir original oil in place (OOIP); Based on the principle of material balance combined with the calculation of water invasion and some correlation theories of water drive characteristic curve ,finally get a mathematical model; Estimated the aquifer influx and the RIP, when the formation pressure varies according to the needs of production to maintain appropriate producing rate ;Research the RIP mathematical model on the basic idea of introducing the optimization theory to estimate the optimization theory to estimate the proper RIP with the help of software made by ourselves; We have calculated the RIP in two ways ,one is the dynamic forcasting model on the ground of material balance principle ,the other is the optimization theory ,and have got two results ,then we compare the results and prove that it is feasible to predict the appropriate RIP by means of optimization .This research has important theoretical and practical significance to the establishment of exploitation plan and to producing highly effectively and properly .So it is the guide to optimizing reservoir exploitation play in the water invasion reservoir.
