Since new century, petrochemical productions are used widely in our daily life with the quick nationality economic development and advance of living condition increasing. However, almost of all chemical plant have the characters of flammability, explosion, high temperature, high pressure, poison, danger, hazard and strong causticity. Meanwhile, petrochemical plant has complexity of product process, difficulty of supervision and management, long period continuous operations. All these characters increase mighty the risk of petrochemical plant. So, how to reduce the potential risk, protecting personal safety and property of country are always the important issues of risking management during the quick development of petroleum and chemical industry.In this paper, the containing sulfurous wastewater product acid plant was studied in Jilin Petrochemical Company. All these are studied, including that potential and possible risking of unit product process of petrochemical. Meanwhile, this paper safety risking is discriminated detailedly about containing sulfurous wastewater product acid plant based on risking management theory. Combining the theory of safety system engineering and risking programming, all technology processes, materials, intermediate product, additives, the equipments and facilities, dangerous source and goal product, which are discriminated and analyzed fully about containing sulfurous wastewater product acid plant. The calculation models of pool fire is used to quantitative calculate the safety risking of containing sulfurous wastewater product acid plant, and conclude the damage diameter, including death area, flesh wound area, grievous bodily harm area, and safety areas, of different explosion energy. Besides, safety preventive measures are discussed focused on discriminated risking factors, which includes the design of technology process, the type of equipments and facilities, safety management in this paper. Meanwhile, the comprehensive security measures is proposed to decrease the occupational hazards. All these measures are suggested to ensure technology process, equipment and facilities, occupation health essential safety. At same time, all these suggestions to ensure the plant run safely, steadily and low-risk. All these suggestions can be used for the strategic development of planning, analysis methods of safety and environment, sustainable development, which lay the groundwork for final goal of personality safety, property of country and environment safety.
