The rapid development of economy, people’s living standard has been greatly improved, the ensuing problem of food waste treatment, because of the lack of scientific and standardized management processes, resulting in serious environmental pollution problems, by this led to a lot of adverse social impact.Therefore, reduction, harmless and resource treatment of food waste is before us an urgent need to solve the problem.The separation of dry and wet food waste is an important guarantee of source reduction and recycling. Food waste processor of food waste as a pretreatment device, after breaking through the food waste into the sewer to achieve the reduction, the crushed particles enter the sewage treatment plant for anaerobic methane production process to realize harmless and resource. Promote the use of food waste processors to meet the requirements of sustainable development, and has broad market prospects and unlimited market potential.But now the device is expensive, due to the direct introduction of foreign advanced technology, and does not take into account the country’s unique food culture and housing structure, making food waste processor in the country to promote the process is slow and consumer awareness is not high.In this paper, food waste processor is developed based on China’s basic national conditions, to meet the relatively inexpensive yet durable premise, making the structure more simple, the operation is more convenient, safer, easier cleaning and maintenance.In this paper, food waste processor as the research object, through the design of research, combined with China’s basic national conditions, the food waste processor analyzes feasibility of application in china.The research on the product at home and abroad, to find the shortcomings of existing products and improvement and Optimization in accordance with the requirements of sustainable design. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1、On the basis of the analysis of the mechanics of structures and materials cutterhead has been redesigned and are selected such that the grinding better meet our food waste characteristics. Meet the requirements under the premise of the drive motor has been re-selection.2、In determining the internal structure of the processor under the premise of food waste, design and selection of materials for the housing. Shape and color with the design makes it easy for consumers interested in food waste processor, choice of materials also meet the requirements of sustainable design.3、Application of SolidWorks three-dimensional software for various parts of the food waste processor modeling and complete the assembly, and then export the CAD drawing. Rendering and rendering application3ds Max and Photoshop to complete the model of production.
