The rapid development of the steel industry in the country, fans more widely used insteel mills, the performance requirements of the fan structure becomes higher. Theturbine plant in its frequent use of the process, there are different degrees of crack,seriously endangering safety. Converter gas blower is a power-driven machinery that isused to converted rotating mechanical energy into the increase of total gas pressuremake gas flow continuously, to ensure the safe use of the fan is one of the importantwork of the iron and steel production. In this paper, through the study of a centrifugalfan steel mechanical analysis of the proposed maintenance policy for strengthening thecrack problem, and calculate to determine the final implementation of the program, toensure the effectiveness of the fan crack problem solving.First, the fan at high speed operation, due to the material itself, or the process ofrotor vibration and other reasons, are likely to produce surface cracks. The fan structuremechanics analysis of the components of the rotor and impeller strength check, s afetycoefficients were calculated corresponding to find strength whether it is one of thecauses of cracks. After the fan surface reinforced, recalculated the intensity and analysisthe strength.Secondly, the establishment of double suction centrifugal fan of three-dimensionalsimulation analysis model was used ANSYS finite element analysis software to researchthe static and dynamic characteristic analysis. Static analysis to understand the stressdistribution fan impeller structure, determine the impeller stress cracks in the region aswell as the maximum stress; by modal analysis, extraction of natural frequencies andvibration impeller-type figure, bending stiffness and torsional understand impeller rotorstructure the distribution of stiffness.Finally, the use of numerical simulation software Fluent steady flow field on the fan,get the airflow around the pulsating pressure turbine rotor。 UnidirectionalFluid-Structure coupling simulation through the impeller was given way to study aerodynamics affect the vibration characteristics of the impeller to provide a theoreticalbasis for the design and safe operation of the fan.
