The heat insulation of equipment and pipe is to reduce heat loss, save energy andprolong the life of pipeline,maintain a good working environment and the need for laborprotection in the industrial construction. How pipe insulation work done which savesenergy while maintaining appearance, it needs to explore the researchers constantlyimprove the use of better materials and construction techniques of construction tocomplete, so the reseach of pipeline heat preservation technology is of great significance.This paper aims to design and prepare a kind of efficient and pract ical thermal insulationcomposite system to meet the requirements of heat preservation of high temperaturepipeline system. This system consists of heat resistant anticorrosive primer, heatinsulation composite materials and polyurethane elastomer outer protective layer, andthis paper mainly focus on the next two parts.First of all, based on the test and comparison analysis of the coefficient of thermalconductivity, oxygen index and smoke density of three kinds of high temperatureresistant foam plastic, the heat insulation composite materials were prepared byscreening and adopting high temperature resistant foam plastic coated SiO2aerogelinsulation blanket of the best comprehensive properties. This paper respectively choose dthe polyimide (PI) foam plastic and polyether sulfone (PES) foam plastic as the innerlayer and outer layer of the heat insulation composite materials, and silicone rubberbetween which aimed to adhesive the three layers.And then a polyurethane elastomer of high performance as heat insulationcomposite outer protective layer was developed. Using different raw materials andformulation designs to prepare a series of polyurethane prepolymers and elastomers, theeffects of the content of-NCO, the kinds of polyether polyol, the composition ratio ofchain extender and the isocyanate types were respectively investigated. Then thecompatibility between outer protective layer and heat insulation composite material wasstudied after selecting two groups of polyurethane elastomer with better comprehensiveproperties. The isocyanate in the two formulas were respectively MDI and HMDI, thepolyols was PTMG2000, the content of-NCO is10%, the best mix ratio of chainextender MBDA/DMTDA was0.75:0.25.The polyurethane elastomer coating on the steel plate, styrene-butadiene rubber andPES foam was of good adhesion, and had excellent shock resistance, excellent flexibility, good medium resistance and low water absorption, which met performance requirementsof heat insulation composite outer protective layer. This ultraviolet aging test ofpolyurethane elastomer showed that the effect of UV irradiation on the properties of theelastomer coating surface was greater than the properties of ontology; MDI elastomercoating with poor weather resistance under ultraviolet light was easy to yellow, butHMDI elastomer coating had better discoloration resistance under ultraviolet light,which was suitable for outdoor environment.
