In the process of coal mining and construction, mine support plays a very important role. In all kinds of mine support pattern, especially combined supporting, many will make use of shotcrete more or less. Shotcrete is a mixture, which cement, aggregates and sand are fully mixed according to a certain ratio. So whether the shotcrete is full mixed is the key to the quality of mine support. At present, there are many problems in kinds of shotcrete mixing equipments and methods, such as too large in bulk to assemble and disassemble, inadequate mixing resulting in bad quality of guniting work, dusty surroundings is harmful to miners’health, high labor strength and low work efficiency, and low degree of mechanization and automation.In this paper, a new shotcrete mixing equipment in coal mine is designed, which can use spiral to directly mix shotcrete in mine car. First, the equipment framework is designed, the spiral can move according to formulary path by hydro-cylinder pulling the spiral and mine car, and can also go up and down. Then, mixing spiral is designed based on spiral conveyer empirical formula, hydraulic system diagram is designed, hydraulic components type selection and calculation are finished, superposition valve block and oil tank are designed. Then, MITSUBISHI Programmable Logic Controller is used to control the process, the input and output addresses are distributed according to the system requirements, and its wiring diagram and power supply circuit diagram are drew out. The sequential control special instruction STL/RET is used to program for shotcrete mixing system. Then, WEINVIEW touch screen is chosen as upper monitor, program steps of configuration software are introduced, the Shotcrete Mixing Control System Interface in Coal Mine is designed. At last, a Shotcrete Mixing Control System in Coal Mine simulation experiment table is established to simulate and experiment. The communication settings among computer, PLC and touch screen and experiment detail steps are introduced, and the experimental results are analyzed.Based on above, it is indicated that the Shotcrete Mixing Equipment in Coal Mine has a simple and compact framework, can be used in kinds of middle and small scale tunnels. Hydraulic system is very saving time and strength to drive the equipment. PLC and touch screen are used to control the equipment. It’s very convenient and safe to operate, and have a high degree of mechanization and automation. It is truly realized that the quickly and completely mixing shotcrete in coal mine.
