As the transporting equipment that transports producer goods and the worker betweenthe ground and the underground, mine hoist, which is honored as “throat equipment, is one ofthe most important mining machinery equipments. The production safety and even the safetyof the worker of the mine enterprise is directly affected by the design, processing andproduction operation. In traditional design, coiling block are key components in mine hoist,which’s structure and performance has always been the focus of the designers, and becausethe force to the coiling block and design calculation are complex, the solve has manydifficulty, the product development cycle is long, many simplifications and rough calculationhave been used in the design, as a result, the computation structure can just partly reflect thestress, displacement, strength and stiffness, and for safety production, the safety factor that isput to use in most cases is bigger, which cause the unnecessary waste. With the developmentof the computer aided technology, the use of modern design method instead of traditionaldesign is inevitable. Use the technology of CAD and CAE that greatly shorten thedevelopment cycle and make the design and analysis actually affect the fact and so on.Mine hoist reel is the research object in this paper. Though using SolidWorks, ANSYSWorkbench software and ANSYS APDL language, the paper researches on the design of reel.It make a deep research in the key design of the reel in this paper. And it research on the keytechnical problems such as mechanical properties and structure scheme of reel parts with2jk-3x1.5single rope winding type mine hoist as an example. By SolidWorks software, entitymodeling is also used, and analysis of statics and dynamics applied by using ANSYSWorkbench software. Examining whether the analysis results meet the requirements ofmechanical properties, and the reel is installed whether choosing wood liner and what kind oflining material,and then to in-depth comparative analysis so as to get the distribution ofmaterial with the thickness of wood liner and reel components stress. Basing on the pictureplate and the particularity of topology optimization in ANSYS and using the APDL languagein ANSYS, this paper anlysis the main parts in reel parameterized modeling.With the analysis of traditional design, calculation and contrast analysis, this paperadopts the method of reducing the workload of design, at the same time in order to improveits accuracy and shorten product development cycle. It aim to the early stages of large hoistreel design for the future to provide fast accurate design method and conclusion reference,meanwhile increase the competitiveness and benefits of enterprises.
