| With the continuous increase of production scale in China, the importance of application of straightening technology in industrial area is becoming increasingly prominent. Roll straighteners are the most widely used levelers at present. On the base of the elastic plasticity flexure theory, rolled pieces with great original bending degree will be straiten and achieve a perfect straightening accuracy through a roll straightener, and the distinction of residual bending degree among of rolled pieces will be significantly reduced, even to be consistent with each other.In this article, the author designs a straightener of unequal roller spacing based on theoretical basis of straightener of equal roller spacing. The structure of such kind of straightener can be treated as one traightener formed by the two groups of straightener of equal roller spacing, which were arranged by such a principle that one with a greater diameter of roller ranked in the front of the smaller one. Adopting this kind of structure, it eliminate the contradictions between stiffness and intensity when straightening through a traditional straightener of equal roller. Furthermore it can also increase the straightening accuracy and improve the service life of the straightener.When selecting the diameter of roller, the workpiece material, the contact strength of straightening roller, and the condition that touched stress should be considered respectively, and the range of roller diameter is selected finally through comprehensive analysis. When calculating the roller number, the front and rear roller groups will be calculated by using straightening project of big deformation and small deformation respectively, and the range of roller numbers of the front and rear roller groups will be obtained.ANSYS/LS-DYNA is used to carry out emulation analysis on the straightening process of straightener of unequal roller spacing. The best values of roller diameter and of roller spacing will be determined by analyzing the results. At the same time, the distribution of residual stress of the steel plate after straightening will be viewed, and could provide an important reference value for the next study on the straightener of unequal roller spacing. |
