Tolfenpyrad was a new type of pyrazole heterocycilic insecticide and micidedeveloped by the original mitsubishi chemical corporation in Japan. Mainly used forpest control aphids, planthoppers, thrips with high activity, low toxicity,broad-spectrum, unique mechanism of action and favorable safety profile, it is one ofthe more highly pesticide varieties on the market at present.Its structure is as follow:Part of new commpound, in search for new pesticides with high activity, lowtoxicity, broad-spectrum and favorable safety profile, we designed novel pyrazolescompounds in two series and study of the technology of pyrazole hydrazone,tolfenpyrad as the lead compound using bioisosterism and union of active group onthe base of the structure-activity relationship. Their structure is summarized asTheir structures were confirmed by means of IR,1H NMR, MS and EA. Spectralproperties and biological activities were also analyzed. The results of insecticidalbiological test show that most of these compounds possess good activity, and severalhave high potential value as novel pesticides.
