Directed assembly of supramolecular compounds with non-covalent interactionsis one of current research topic.9supramolecular compounds were synthesized withN-containing and O-containing ligands, and using single-crystal x-ray diffractiontechniques to determine their crystal structures. Supramolecular synthons formed byhydrogen bonds (such as strong hydrogen bonds O―H O, N―H O and weakhydrogen bonds C―H O and so on) play an important role in the network on theconstructions of new supramolecular compound crystals. Compounds1-9werecharacterized by elemental analysis, Infrared Spectroscopy (IR). This thesis aredivided into five chapters. In chapter1, the recent research progress of supramolecular chemistry and crystalengineering, mainly focused on the effect of supramolecular hydrogen bonding on thesyntheses of supramolecular compounds. Then the research purpose, significance andmain conclusion on this thesis were summarized. In chapter2, used raw materials, as well as the characterization and theinstruments used are described. In chapter3,2,6-resorcylic acid were applied to crystallize with2-aminopyrimidine ligands affording one supramolecular compounds under generalconditions. They were carried out structural analysis and characterization. To explorethe effect of hydrogen bonds and supramolecular synthons in their structures. The newsupramolecular compounds is:[(C7H5O4-)·(C4H6N3+)](1)In chapter4,2-amino-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine ligands were applied to crystallize with 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid and1,5-naphthalenedisulfonic acid affording two newsupramolecular compounds[(C8H12O4)·(C6H9N3O2)2](2)[(C10H6O6S22-)·(C6H10N3+)2]·2H2O ((3)under general conditions. They were carried out structural analysis andcharacterization. To explore the effect of hydrogen bonds and supramolecular synthonsin their structures. Finally we summarize the research contents of this chapter. In chapter5,2,4,6-triaminopyrimidine ligand was applied to crystallize with manykinds of organic acid affording six new supramolecular compounds[(C8H2I3NO42-)·(C4H9N52+)]·2H2O (4)[(C5H6O42-)2·(C4H9N52+)2]·3H2O (5)[(C8H4NO6-)·(C4H8N5+)]·H2O (6)[(C8H2Br2O42-)·(C4H8N5+)2]·2H2O (7)[(C10H6O6S22-)·(C4H8N5+)2](8)[(C7H5O4-)·(C4H8N5+)]·2H2O (9)under general conditions. They were carried out structural analysis andcharacterization. To explore the effect of hydrogen bonds and supramolecular synthonsin their structures. Finally we summarize the research contents of this chapter. The results of this thesis provide more information for application ofsupramolecular compounds.
