Heavy metal pollution to human and biological hazards is serious, such as the world famous minamata disease, such as bone pain disease is caused by heavy metal pollution disaster. In this paper, research work on biological modification materials as the adsorbent, the adsorption of heavy metal ions to remove the water pollution of the environment.Oxidative decomposition were first introduced in the experimental prepared chitosan oligosaccharide solution with soluble shells, using thiol was prepared by esterification with chitosan. Research shows that:the former in actual application in the elution of heavy metals in the solid state has disadvantages, unable to clear the whole piece of heavy metal, sulphur chitosan for failing to improve the acid soluble to practical application. Experiments also were out of shape by emulsion crosslinking method is better, removal of Cu2+ability of chitosan/hydroxyapatite composite material, the saturated adsorption amount of152000mg/kg. Using SEM morphology of composite materials have been characterized and studied the adsorption behavior of Cu2+in the water. SEM scanning mirror shows:composite material as the surface roughness, particle size as the rules of the micron grade spherical particles, and the structure of the class tennis; The experimental results show that:the composite material when Cu2+180min in the solution can reach the adsorption equilibrium, much higher than the adsorption capacity of modified chitosan before monomer adsorption ability. Adsorption conforms to the quasi secondary dynamic equation, the range of correlation coefficient r2is0.9821-0.9994, the saturated adsorption amount of qe2with the experimental data. The fit of the adsorption process belongs to the Freundlich isothermal adsorption model, the scope of the r2is0.808-0.952.Application experiments also selects the peanut shells, citrus peel and carbon fibers, the three kinds of natural materials as a biological adsorbent, and compares the chitosan modified materials research. Study compared the solution pH value, initial concentration of Cu2+ions, the effects of the adsorption time on adsorption and got from the experiment the optimum adsorption conditions for each material, then analysis the adsorption effect of these materials. The results show that the pH change the biggest effect on the adsorption performance; Each of these materials in their best under the condition for the adsorption of Cu2+adsorption, look from the adsorption effect of citrus peel, peanut shells, two materials are better than carbon fiber. The three natural material on the adsorption of Cu2+compared with chitosan materials are relatively low, but as an adsorbent for Cu2+has the adsorption equilibrium time is short, low cost advantage.
