The chemical industry is one of the most important industries in China, its economicstatus is very important to our country. As China’s continuous adjustment and optimization oflarge chemical enterprises, the country began to construct chemical industrial parks, andcauses a chemical industry park development boom. The development of chemical enterprisezone, can promote the progress of science and technology of China’s petrochemicalenterprises and management innovation, at the same time, it has a profound significance topromote regional economic development. But behind in the rapid expansion, there are manysecurity issues, the parks lack of unified security. Enterprises in the Park, it has done its ownsafety assessment, but the Park as a whole lacks a comprehensive set of regional riskassessment guidelines. This paper keep the chemical industry park as the research object. In connection with theaccident risk characteristics of chemical industry park, the ARAMIS system of EU will beapplied in risk assessment of chemical industry park. Through the three indicators ofprobability, severity and vulnerability redefined the risk. Considering the effect of theprobability of occurrence of a security barrier on the worst accident scenarios, that has a morerealistic assessment of risk; use the bow-tie diagram and risk-matrix to choose referenceaccident scenarios; added vulnerability assessment in risk assessment systems of chemicalindustry park. At last it considers correlation between risk in chemical industry park tocomplete the entire evaluation process. At the same time, it has provided a reference ofchemical industry park security planning and the quantification of risk.
