Process Optimization Of Mold Casting Based On HZCAE

The casting technology of China has4000years splendid history,which is alsoimportant in the casting world.At the moment,our country is becoming the centre of the’worlds manufacturing industry,with the ecnomic developing，we need more and more castswhich have high-quality,so how to improve the process design of casting is regarded as akey issue to research,casting technique of CAE provides a solution for thisproblem,foundry CAE technology is a method of visualization using computer3Dmodeling，and computer simulation of casting to show the whole process and castingdefects formation process. With the development of computer technology,computer-aideddesign of the casting and the numerical simulation technology of casting solidiifcationhave been widely applied in practice，which completely change the casting processplanning uncertainty.Application of CAE technology can help companies rapid,accurateand low cost to complete the whole cast productions process.The development of castingCAE technology change the blindness in design of casting process,it plays an importantrole in ensuring cast’s quality,improving the productivity of casting and promoting thedevelopment of casting technology.The valve body is an important component in the valve,which with the valve core andvalve seat sealing together can be used to withstand the pressure medium.the valve bodycasting as an example in this study,through the combination of process design with theroycalculation and numerical simulation technology to analysis the quality problem of valvebody，and then formulate several solutions according to existing problem. Through thesimulation experiment of HZCAE software,selecting the optimal scheme process toproduce，then getting the technical requirements of the qualified castings.Ultrasonic testingof each scheme shows that the simulation results and the production of the shrinkageporosity defect’s location，size get on basic agreement,proves that simulation technologyplays the auxiliary function in improvement and optimization of process, improves thebodies quality problem.Therefore, HZCAE simulation sotfware can predict the shrinkagedefects in the valve body castings,which can provide scientific basis for the improvement of casting process, make the design of casting process from empiricism to the scientiifcroad.
