The Design Language And Application In Clothing Patterns Using The Color "Optical Illusion"

The color illusion is a dermatoglyphic patterns which were composed of the three threekey point elements of color and the change of point, line and plane. The visual illusionphenomenon is a reflection of residual image in the retina and cerebral cortex when the observersaw something. While this vision often have certain visual error comparing with the real world,so it be called visual illusion. The pattern used in fashion design often appears in the form ofdecorative patterns which are combination of color and graphics and often attached to the fabricto showing out. This paper based on the theory of comparison color of Eaton, the affection ofcolor brightness, psychological feeling of warm and cold colors, the principle of contrast color,color and physique theory of Piet Cornelies Mondrian and �'асилий Кандинский. Under theenlightenment of Opple art style in twentieth century60，we focus on the two-dimensionalmethod in fashion design to expression more space changes to realize three-dimensional ormulti-dimensional illusion pattern visual style thinking of the visual magic charm and visualtension.The substantial increase of digital printing technology in garment design was a powerfulguarantee on application on optical illusion pattern, a innovation of the garment materials, andwill be more and more popular going along with the improvement of ecological environmentalprotection awareness. Taking hue, lightness and purity, which are the essence of colorcomposition as the main line runs through this paper, basing on point, line and plane which arethe essence of plane composition, we explored the relationship between the basic elementsmentioned above, and color optical illusionin the constitution of clothing pattern design. We alsoanalyzed a lot of real optical illusion cases, and summarized the source of the elements, thestandards of this application, the design language and the implementation path in the form of color optical illusion. What’s more, we drew the patterns using the modeling method andsummarized the theory in the divergency of thinking in the appear modeling.
