In this paper,from systematic and practical aspects,9kinds of fabrics which had differentspecification were designed and woven by cotton ply-yarn as wrap and cottonply-yarn,hemp/cotton blended ply-yarn,polyamide ply-yarn as weft.The subjective and objectiveassessment was respectively and combined applied to systematic evaluate and analyze theperformances of heat transmissibility,moisture behavior and air permeability of each fabric.Theinfluence rule of fabric tightness and yarn stiffness on fabric surface contacted area wereemphasized on the research.In the objective assessment,first of all,the micro structure of each fibers were observed andanalyzed by using scanning electron microscope,using digital Macro Lens to shooting thebuckling state of warp and weft,then calculating the fabric geometry phase sequence number.And using MATLAB software processed the image of fabric surface contacted area.Theinfluencing factors of fabric surface contacted area were analyzed as well.Then the properties ofair permeability,moisture permeability,wick ability,contact cool feeling and thermal conductionof the fabrics were studied,and the whole property of each fabrics was evaluated in help of radarmap.In the subjective assessment,making actual flat experiment by letting the subjects extenttheir bodies on the mat fabric,and the relationship between the subjective feeling and objectivetest results was analyzed.The results showed that a negative correlation was found between fabric geometry structurephase and yarn curvature radius.The relationship between fabric surface contacted area and yarnstiffness presented positive correlation.When the fabric warp tightness was the same,a positivecorrelation between fabric surface contacted area and fabric weft tightness.At the same time,Therelationship between fabric surface contacted area and fabric geometry structure phase presentedpositive correlation.The fabric which used hemp/cotton blended ply-yarn as weft could provideexcellent hydroscopicity, moisture penetrability,scattered wet performance and heat transmissibility then the fabric which used cotton ply-yarn as weft and the fabric which usedpolyamide ply-yarn as weft.When the ingredients of weft were the same, fabric with low lineardensity had better performance of disseminating and transfer heat as well as conducting andabsorbing moisture.Subjective questionnaire results indicated that when subjects extented theirbodies on the fabric which had lower linear density or contain hemp,it gave a comfortable feel ofwet, hot and contact comfort to people,moreover the subject’s skin temperature was lower duringthe whole lying experiment. The above results demonstrated that designed the fabric which weftwas hemp/cotton with lower linear density could better meet the needs of military mat fabric insummer. |
