| There are many shortcomings of traditional CNC system, such as the enclosedstructure, the poor ability of hardware and software compatibility and can not benetworked. These factors make CNC system cannot adapt to the modern processingrequirements of the future, seriously restrict the development of numerical controltechnology. For this purpose, the concept of open CNC system arises at the historicmoment. According to the definition from IEEE, the open CNC system has goodhardware and software compatibility, and can be ported to different platforms. Inaddition, it also has the characteristics of reconfigurable and networking. Because ofthese advantages, many countries began to research the open CNC system. It is certainthat the open CNC system has become the direction of future development ofnumerical control technology.In this paper, the author has deeply analyzed the basic characteristics of the CNCsystem and realized the working principle and structure of system. The project hasdesigned the hardware structure of open NC milling platform and developed the uppercomputer numerical control system based on the object-oriented technology. Thestructure of Hardware system is PC with ACR9000motion controller and the systemtakes the AC servo motor as the driving parts. The hardware system has completedsystem wiring connection and finished the debugging. The project also has designedthe interface between the PC and controller based on COM component technology. Theapplication program is developed by MFC and it consists of the following mainfunctions: the communication with controller, the function of JOG movement, thefunction of biaxial linkage, the acquirement of location information, interpolation andthe function numerical control programming, etc.At last, this system has been used in the test experiment, the experimental resultsshow that the system running stably and each function module can operate properly, verified the veracity and reliability of the system. |
