With the risingof energy prices globally, traditional diesel powered workover operationcost increased greatly. On the other hand, with the appearance ofenvironmental degradation and climate change, the society paid moreattention to environmental problems. Liquefied natural gas is a new type oflow carbon energy, it is high quality, efficient, high burning point andstrong safety, so it suitable for long distance transportation and storage.Accordingly it is considered to be the alternative engine fuel for vehicles.This paper combined with the project of XJ900(LNG) workover rig inBohai equipment Zhongcheng equipment manufacturing company, and itcarried out a feasibility study for the application of LNG powered engineon workover rig.The paper elaborates the composition and dynamic characteristics ofLNG engine, the principle of air supply system and the structure of fuelfilling system. It comparatively analyzes the performance between LNGand diesel engine, and then drawn the conclusion of the feasibility of theapplication of LNG engine on the workover rig.This article introduces the overall design scheme and transmissionplan of XJ900(LNG) workover rig, and it presents the calculation of mainparts, including the power system, transmission system, and chassis, liftingsystem, hydraulic system, pneumatic system and electrical system.It has conducted extensive research on the test method of LNG gaspowered workover rig, and developed the requirements of mainly test,function test, load test, the maximum static load test and the running test.In the end, it introduced the field test situation in detail.LNG gas powered workover rig is powerful, speed fast and highefficiency, and its performance indexes meet the requirements of oil field workover operation. Its drawworks adopts hydraulic combined withpneumatic auxiliary brake, so its operation is sensitive and reliable, andcan greatly reduces the labor intensity of driller. LNG storage tank haslarge capacity can meet the fuel demand of workover operation, and reducethe recharge times and saving operation cost on site. The double storagetanks are arranged on both sides, can filling the fuel at the same time, so itis convenient especially for the small field conditions.LNG gas powered workover rig realized natural gas substituting oil,and it can save fuel cost30-40%in the same condition. The machinereached national IV emission standard, can effectively reduce the operationcost and the harmful emission. It has achieved the transformation of lowenergy consumption and environment friendly production, and has goodeconomic and social benefits. |
