Adiponitrile is one of the main indispensable raw materials for new material nylon66, and this is the most important industrial using.97%of its production used to product of nylon66fiber and resin, and the majority of of adiponitrile used by own. With the development of technology, its applications become more widely, the demand for ADN will also increase substantially. Currently, the production of ADN prepared mainly by direct cyanidation of INVISTA, this method as the most advanced ADN production technology. Components are complexed and the boiling point of the main components are nearly during the production processes, which is make it more difficult to separation and purification. In this article, the design and simulation for the separation of adiponitrile products from1,3-butadiene cyanidation, through optimization of process improvements to achieve a separation of products and energy-saving systems.ASPENPLUS is an advanced process simulation software ofAmerican technology company, using this software for process simulation, providing accurate unit operation models, simulation efficiency canbe greatly improved, optimize the operation can also be optimized or reconstructionandrenovation of existing device devices.In this article, ASPENPLUS software as the working platform, using rigorous distillation column operating unit, NRTL and UNIQUAC thermodynamic properties calculation methods used for adiponitrile prepared process by1,3-butadiene direct cyanidation. Corresponding process parameters were simulated using Property Estimation (nature estimates),effectively and accurately. Two distillation sequences to be studied by heuristics and tuning method During the simulation, the simulation process emphasis on the plate numbers, feed position and affect the amount of overhead and other changes adopted parameters for the entire simulation results. After analysis and the optimal separation sequence, you can get99.83%of the mass concentration of ADN and the mass concentration of99.80%2-methyl pentanedinitrile.Some technical streams need to be heated while others need to be cooled, together with the matching of these streams, full use of the thermalto heat the cold stream, improve the thermalreco very process, the thermal integration of the separate sequences. Using pinch analysis method for the separation and questions form the heat exchanger network synthesis sequence, to obtain a more integrated energy-saving thermal separation process, saving energy up to19.01%.
