The stone industry of our country is developing rapidly with great increase of auto possession, Along with the quality enhancement of people’s life, all sorts of natural stone is widely used in people life in all areas, such as building decoration, road, bridge construction, etc. For these stone processing, different kinds of diamond tools are needed, Diamond tool shows great advantage over the other tools. The efficiency and processing cost of stone are affected by which the diamond tool can give full play to its advantages. When diamond saw blade was used to cut stone.Saw blade tensioning force distribution is uneven that lead to the saw shift and stone material thickness unevenness.lt can increase the difficulty of processing and make the stone plate become waster.And cutting force is a main parameter to evaluate cutting performance of saw blades, it is the main basis in the machine tool design and calculation of cutting power consumption, which affects the service life of saw blades directly. So it’s of great significance to study vibration characteristics and cutting force for improving diamond saw blades’service life.They were studied in the paper the diamond saw blades dynamic characteristic and cutting force in the saw blade cutting stone process through the experimental method and finite element analysis software ANSYS simulation, specific as follows:(1) It was studied the dynamic characteristics for diamond saw blades. The low order natural frequency and the main vibration mode were determined through hammer producing incentive experiment method and ANSYS finite element calculation method separately. The more precise nature frequency, modal shape, model damping and dynamic characteristics related to vibration noise were got by using DASP-V10experimental modal analysis software. The natural frequency tested by experiment were compared with finite element analysis results to verify the correctness of finite element analysis including finite element analysis theory model and analysis method, which fixed foundation of finite element analysis and optimization for diamond saw blades.(2) It was studied dynamic characteristics of blades with different parameters through ANSYS software. Changing structure parameters of saw blades would reduce vibration, noise and optimize structure parameters of saw blades. The influence of structure parameters on natural frequency was ensured as follows:the natural frequency of the blade increased with the increase of its length and its height of agglomerate. But the natural frequency of the saw blade decreased with the increase the number of agglomerate per unit length and other parameters were all constant.(3) In this paper, mathematical model of the cutting force for Diamond saw blade is built. And the influence to the cutting force of the Diamond saw blade is tested by experimenting and analyzing. The cutting force of the Diamond saw blade is directly proportional to the microhardness of Marble,it"s directly proportional to its feeding speed, it’s directly proportional to the length of the sawtooth,it’s directly proportional to the Cone angle of the Diamond particles, it’s decreased with the increasing coolant liquid.The material and the size of the saw blade could be devised correctly, and it is very helpful to the improvement of the stone processing industry.It provided some theoretical basis and reference data in saw blades designing, and processing technology parameters making through the research of diamond saw blades vibration characteristics and cutting force; And at the same time through optimizing saw blade structure parameters and processing technology parameters, which can improve performance of saw blades, and can reduce cost, improve machining efficiency. The research results have certain practical value in engineering for stone products processing.
