Optimized Research On Sleeves Pattern For Vietnamese Airlines Stewardess Uniforms Ao Dai

AoDai is one of the Vietnamese traditional dresses which carries Vietnameseculture and it is also used as Vietnam airlines flight stewardess uniform. This uniformis not only for the style of the Vietnam stewardess uniform but also promote Vietnamunique clothing culture in the world. To make the uniform more adapt to thestewardess work, author was requested to use a questionnaire survey on the need foruniform from100flight stewardess, determine the content and scheme optimizationof uniform, get the measurement of human body data with these stewardess, and dothe sleeve try on evaluation experiments at the same time, to provide effective way todesign a beautiful and comfortable flight stewardess uniforms for the enterprise.By using SPSS software, this paper analyzed data of the survey questionnaireabout the uniform from the100Vietnam flight stewardess, and found that67%ofpeople like uniform style, but most of the people think wearing this uniform isinconvenience to the work, especially for the sleeves part. And then established thistopic of optimizing the uniform Ao Dai sleeves.To use manual measurement method to get the data of40flight stewardess, usingstatistical analysis software to analyze data, finally extracted a size165/84of thehuman body data. Using the current existing method uniform structure make theplanar mapping, as a reference of optimization scheme.After that combine the structure design principle of a raglan sleeve, analyze thesleeves of AoDai and eventually developed optimization scheme: now use currentAoDai as sample2, on the basis of sample2reduce1cm of bicep, set it as sample1,and on the basis of sample2respectively increase bicep1cm,2cm,3cm, set assample3, sample4and sample5. Through the study of ergonomics and flightstewardess working range of the arm, established the experiment scheme, using thesame fabric of current stewardess uniforms to sew sample, and do the try onevaluation of eight models.Corresponding to the level5psychological scale method,to do the subjectiveevaluation for the static beauty and dynamic comfort of the samples. Found that sample1is the best on aesthetic, but the worst on comfort; Sample2is slightlyinferior to the sample3on aesthetic, in the third place, but comfort is poorer, as thefourth; Sample3is slightly inferior to the sample1on aesthetic, in the second place,and better on comfort, can satisfy the working requirements;The sleeves of sample4,and5are loose, so comfort is good, but poor on aesthetic. Therefore, above all, thesample3can not only meet the requirements of the stewardess uniform on aesthetic,but also can meet the requirements of comfort.This research optimizes the uniform Aodai sleeve, based on Vietnam ergonomicsresearch and subjective evaluation experiment, and ultimately determines the samplewhich can meet the requirement, and provides a scientific basis for produce airstewardess uniform with aesthetics and comfort for the enterprise.
