Acid rain is very serious in China, and acid rain can be be divided into acid rain causedby sulfur dioxide and acid rain caused nitrogen oxidate. In China, acid rain is mainly causedby sulfur dioxide. From the beginning of21century, China has developped several advancedflue gas desulfurization technology. After more than10years’ hard work, the amout ofsulfur dioxide emissions is under control, but the quantity is still very huge, the task ofemission reduction is still stringent. Iron and steel as sulfur dioxide emitters, has unshirkableresponsibility of emission reduction. According to China’s policy, Beihai Chengde nickel ltd.Desulfurization device was set for flue gas. This paper analyzed the neccessity of sinteringflue gas desulfurization, and introduced the present situation of sintering flue gasdesulfurizatio. Then, the processes and technical characteristics of main desulphurizationtechnology were analyzes, including limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization, magnesium beddesulfurization technology, ammonia water desulfurization technology, seawaterdesulfurization technology, circulating fluideized bed desulfurization technology, spray dryingdesulfurization technology, and active coke absorption technology. Flue gas of Beiha ChengdeNickel Co., sintering had it’s own special characteristics.The flue gas amount was large, andthe flue gas amount volatility was also big.The temperature of flue gas was high. For thecontent of flue gas, dust load and high oxgen contenct was high. Flue gas desulfurizationprocess technical and economic points were analyzed to select a suitable desulfurizationtechnology. At last, a advanced flue gas desulfurization process supplied by LongkingEnvironmental Protection Co., Ltd. was selected. This flue gas desulfurization used calciumoxide or calcium hydroxide as absorbent. It not only had high reaction speed, thoroughchemical reaction, high desulphurization efficiency, hight reliability, small equipment, lowaccupation of land, it also had low flow gas pressure loss, low investment and low runningcost. According to this project, several special designs had been taken to make it better. Afterthe design work done, the device were installed. And after168hours test, thisdesulphurization system got expected desulphurization efficiency. In the end, outlook thequestion existing for the project. |
