In this study, the environmental-friendly rubber filling oil was prepared by using thethird side-steam vacuum distillates from SZ36-1naphthenic base crude oil as the feedstockand furfural as solvent through three differents methods. The environmental-friendly rubberfilling oil met the requirement of EU REACH regulation. The environmental indicators are asfollows: the total contents of the eight kinds of the PAHs are less than10mg.kg-1, the contentof BaP is less than1mg.kg-1and the PCAcontent is less than3%.The study showed that the environmental-friendly rubber filling oil was not preparedonly by the first furfural extraction, but it could produce by using the third furfural extractionin the laboratory test. The effect trend of temperature on the solvent extraction severity in thefirst solvent extraction experiment was similar to which in the third solvent extraction. Theenvironmental-friendly rubber filling oil with CAvalue of9.85%and the yield of63.05%wasobtained in the third solvent extraction, while the temperature was80℃, and the weight ratioof solvent to oil was1.5:1in experiment. In this environmental-friendly rubber filling oil, thetotal contents of the eight kinds of the PAHs was4.4mg·kg-1, the BaP was not found and thePCAcontent was2.62%.The environmental-friendly rubber filling oil with CAvalue of15.20%and the yield of75.50%was obtained by the combined process of catalytic hydrogenation-solvent extractionunder the reaction conditions that hydrogenation temperature was330℃, initialhydrogenation pressure was7MPa for2h, furfural extraction temperature was75℃, theweight ratio of solvent to oil was1.5:1. In this environmental-friendly rubber filling oil, thetotal contents of the eight kinds of the PAHs was3.7mg·kg-1, the BaP was not found and the PCAcontent was2.61%.The environmental-friendly rubber filling oil having high aromatic carbon was preparedby the division method. When the first solvent extraction temperature was120℃and theweight ratio of solvent to oil was3:1, the second solvent extraction temperature was75℃and the weight ratio of solvent to oil was1.5:1, the environmental-friendly rubber filling oilwith CAvalue of17.14%and the yield of31.28%could be obtained. In thisenvironmental-friendly rubber filling oil, the total contents of the eight kinds of the PAHs was0.3mg·kg-1, the BaP was not found and the PCA content was2.32%. At the same time, thefirst raffinate oil with more than90%saturates was got, which met the requirements of baseproperties of lube base oil.Comparing with the environmental-friendly rubber filling oil from these three differentsmethod could be concluded, the properties of the product with low yield from the solventextraction in the division method was the best. The rubber filling oil developed by combinedprocess was better on high yield and slightly worse on properties than the product developedby the solvent extraction in the division method, so the combined process was a goodpreparation method. The environmental-friendly rubber filling oils from these two kinds oftechnology were advantageous on properties. The additional value and utilization of oil werehigh, which met the trend of oil using in the future. Compared with those two kinds ofproducts, the properties of product from the third solvent extraction were the worst. Bycompared the environmental-friendly rubber filling oils from these three methods with thetypical environmental-friendly rubber filling oils at home and abroad, the product prepared bythe combined process of catalytic hydrogenation-solvent extraction and the solvent extractionin the division method met the requirement on functional performance and the environmentalindicators.
