With the improvement of people’s economic level, people show the increasingly highdemand of TV, LCD, as a display of products in recent ten years, has gradually entered thepopular stage. With the gradual popularization of the LCD, demand for LCD increases. As thekey component of LCD TV, LCD module occupies the entire cost of about sixty percent. Ihave engaged in LCD module industry, and we faced with the need to reduce cost, thedecrease of more than10%every year. Cushion material is one of the maximum consumptionmaterials for liquid crystal module manufacturing process (1/3), as well as the core material ofLCD module bonding process. So how to choose the high performance and good price ofCushion material is always an important work, directly related to reduce the manufacturingcost of the liquid crystal module.The innovation of this thesis through the research on the physical characteristics of cushionmaterials, summarize the core physical characteristics of mainstream cushion materials table,main application fields, and then through the characteristics of the main parts of the panel,which summarizes the demand characteristics of these products to the cushion material, theapplication of internal inspection/test equipment, standard test method for authentication andevaluation standard, comprehensive study further cushioning material, combined with themainstream LCD module (SEC/CSOT) enterprise of cushion materials technical requirements,certification test method, the practical application of research, the study summarized thephysical characteristics of cushion materials table, the experimental method of enterpriseapplication, certification evaluation standard results, so as to business or related engineeringand technical personnel in the cushion material selection, certification standards, certificationstandards provide the full set, but also in solving the problem of providing a comprehensivetechnical guidelines. Through the above research work, the enterprise can cut into the cushionmaterial cost efficient to reduce the work, so as to contribute to the cost competitiveness ofenterprises. Finally, through the study of the panel Bonding characteristics, based on thecurrent development trend of LCD module, the development trend of cushioning materials inthe future to do some work on prediction and, in order to cushion material the direction for thedevelopment of enterprises to do a traction, further reduce the liquid crystal modulemanufacturing costs, thereby enhancing make larger contribution for the the competitiveness of enterprises.
