With the development of society economy, city scale is becoming larger and larger.Because of the process of urbanization, fire disaster in cities broke out more and morefrequently, the losses caused by fire disasters are also increasing, and including threats topeople’s safety and property, psychology injured, and bad social influence.In present, risk evaluation of urban fire in domestic and abroad field has been fullyexpanded, with various evaluation methods, theory support and strict calculate. In spite of that,most of the risk evaluation methods are exhibits remarkable characteristics, like large statistic,wide information, difficult calculate method, etc.This passage mainly expounds the method of risk evaluation method in the mountainousregions of northern Guangdong, then compared with the cities in the pearl river delta andanalyzes the fire risk between two types of city. Considering the fire risk characteristics ofmountain city, designs a set of questionnaire, by using moment method of estimation, workexperiences of experts. The questionnaire includes17fire disaster causes, such as the city’seconomic development, city’s population size, major hazard in the city, mountain city’s firelaw enforcement, mountain city’s fire features, etc. One questions for each factor, and onevalidity question in the end.Taking S city as the investigation object, and investigating86urban inhabitants, thisarticle made exact calculation and worked out the average score of every fire disaster causeand the standard deviation between dates, with the advantage of self-made scales andconcluded it’s risk of fire disaster. The article expound the advantage and weakness about theself-made scales.
