15amaranth varieties were selected as the research object in this study. A soilculture experiment under the stress of salt and heavy metal was made to screen ofamaranth varieties of low heavy metal accumulation. Another trial was planned tocollect rhizosphere solution, and nutrient elements, heavy metals, small moleculeorganic acids, total free amino acid, DOC were measured to research the relationshipbetween plant root secretion and the the accumulation of heavy metals under saltstress. At last, a hydroponic trial was designed to research potassium and calcium ionchannels on the permeability of each elements. The main results were as follows:Baigengjianye amaranth, Baiguxiaoyuanye amaranth, Zhengtaixiaoyuanyeamaranth, Taiwanbai amaranth, Yuanzhongbaiyuanye amaranth were top choiceswhile planted on the saline soil contaminated with heavy metals. And try to avoidchoosing Huahong amaranth, Quanhong amaranth, Yuanzhongyuanyehong amaranth,Liuye amaranth. The average enrichment coefficient size order of Cd,Pb,Cr,Cu and Znin different amaranth cultivars was as followed,Cd>Zn>Cu>Cr>Pb.Amaranthshowed great ability on Cd enrichment under salt stress, and showed a significantcorrelation between Cd and Ca,Fe,Mn,Pb at the same time.Maleic acid and tartaric acid are biggest part of the total organic acid in smallmolecule organic acid of amaranth root secretion, while malic acid, citric acid, oxalicacid, acetic acid are lesser, succinic acid, propionic acid, fumaric acid and formic acidare the least. The concentration of Na in rhizosphere soil solution showed nosignificant correlation when compared with Zn,Cu or Pb but Cd. The varying patternof tartaric acid concentration in rhizosphere soil solution was similar to Zn andFe,while citric acid, propionic acid, acetic acid and fumaric acid showed contrarytendency with the varying pattern of Pb concentration in rhizosphere soil solution.Through the trial of Chapter four, the result suggested calcium ion channelsappear a gender to Ca2+, K+, Mg2+, Na+and Cd2+, and potassium channels appear agender to K+and Na+.
