Organic intermediates, Iminium ions which is a kind of organic reaction intermediate,played an important role in various kinds of chemical disciplines including total synthesis,drug synthesis, materials in organic synthesis. However Iminium which is one of the organicintermediates played a major role in the construction of carboncarbon, carbon-heteroatombonds and heterocycle. The main work of this paper was that the construction of Iminium ionscarboncarbon, this paper mainly include two parts.In the first section, characteristics, synthesis and applications of Iminium in organicsynthesis were stated thoroughly in this paper. Especially the reactive mechanism of imineand all kinds of synthesis method has carried on the detailed analysis, the cognition of imineactivity was Further deepen.In the second section, according to the characteristics of iminium intermediates, twomethods of organic synthesis including the high synthesis of allyl amine and synthesis ofindene derivatives has been developed. The activity of iminium ions were used in above twomethods, on the condition of catalyst, the construction of carbon-carbon bondsintramolecularly and the construction cyclization reaction of carbon-carbon bondsintremolecularly has occurred, this further enrich the understanding of imine reaction.Especially synthesis methods and research of indene derivatives has played a positive role forthe development and application of indene derivatives, because a new simple and convenientsynthesis method and path for indene has developed through the imide intermediatessynthesis.
