Petrochemical industry is one of the pillar industries of our country, which plays adecisive role to the development of the national economy. Petrochemical industry chainlength, there are many different kinds of complicate process, variety raw materials andproducts, The wastewater of the production whose components are complex and refractoryhas a large emissions, which threat the water environment of ecological safety in our countryseriously. In this study, the influent of a typical large-scale petrochemical enterprise comprehensivewastewater treatment plant as the research object, establishing analysis methods about thepetrochemical complex organic pollutants in wastewater. Using the analysis methods ofbuilding to track and monitor the organic pollutants in each processing unit about thecomprehensive wastewater treatment plant, examine removal of organic pollutants in eachunit of wastewater treatment process.1. An analysis method on volatile organics compounds in the typically petrochemicalwastewater organics was set up. Through optimizing the purge flow, purge time, desorptiontime, desorption temperature and flow rate and the chromatographic conditions, established aanalysis of volatile organic compounds in typical petrochemical wastewater by Purge andTrap-Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry. The correlation coefficient internal standardmethod calibration curve between0.9965and1.0000; seven samples measured relativestandard deviation was less than5.00%, the individual was less than12.00%; minimumdetectable concentration of each component within0.23~4.91μg/L; the method of standardaddition recoveries were82.3%~115.7%.2. An analysis about semivolatile organic compounds in typical wastewater petrochemicalwas established. Through comparing the pretreatment methods of the liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction and solid phase micro extraction, selecting the liquid-liquid extractionas the best pretreatment method. Meanwhile the extraction solvent, the extraction conditionsand chromatographic conditions was optimizied and established an analysis method aboutsemivolatile organic compounds in typical petrochemical wastewater by liquid-liquidextraction-Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry. The correlation coefficient of theexternal standard method calibration curve between0.9921and0.9999; seven samplesmeasured relative standard deviation is less than8.92%; minimum detectable concentration ofeach component within0.034~0.13mg/L; the methods of standard addition recoveriey was84.88~109.13%.3. Using the method above, the main organic pollutants in wastewater and their changingtrend was analyzed which from each unit of hydrolysis-acidification+A/O process in a typicalpetrochemical wastewater treatment plant. The result showed, there were27kinds ofhydrocarbon,5kinds of phenols, aldehydes, esters, alcohols, ketones, amines, nitriles, organic acids, heterocyclic compounds and other57kinds of organic pollutants in the influent. Thetotal removal efficiency of COD was87.66%by the combined process, and64kinds oforganic pollutants were completely removed, the removal efficiency of17kinds of organicpollutants were over90%, while a small amount of heterocyclic contaminants still existed inthe effluent. Aldehydes, alcohols, esters got a better degraded in hydrolysis-acidification unit, thedegradation of ketones, amines in anoxic unit and aldehydes, ketones, esters, amines, organicacids, hydrocarbon in aerobic unit was remarkable.
