Trimethylolpropane (TMP) is an important chemical raw material. Due to thespecial nature of its molecular structure, it has been widely used in many fields. TheTMP demand will grow faster, while the volume of sewage discharge generated acorresponding increase. As a result, it can not only provide the forecast informationsupportn or analysis, forecast changes in water quality patterns and trends in the masterwater quality status, also provide data to support the choice of follow-depth treatmentprocess by establishing a good water quality monitoring method.TMP production process of high ammonia concentration wastewater emissions andhigh concentration organic wastewater, pouring into the river water it could easily causeeutrophication of water bodies, its extremely harmful to the human body and willdestroy the environment. This article establish of a comprehensive TMP water qualityanalysis method for the water quality monitoring and analysis by optimizedpre-processing means.Detected by conventional indicators and treated by ultrafiltration(the resin gradechemical and physical processing means), the analysis shows the substances of amolecular weight distribution of water samples and in each molecular weight range.Sewage mainly consists by small molecule semi-volatile organic compounds, aromaticlesser extent. The pretreatment of wastewater using solid-phase extraction andliquid-liquid extraction means of TMP wastewater on qualitative and quantitativestudies to determine the target pollutants. Solid-phase extraction and liquid-liquidextraction techniques were carried out to optimize the extraction conditions,respectively, detected by GC/MS, the quality control results show that the traditionalliquid-liquid extraction technology is more reliable. Gas chromatography is acumbersome pretreatment method, and it needs to use a large amount of an organicsolvent. Compared with gas chromatography, liquid chromatography is a simplepretreatment. Under the optimized chromatographic conditions, it is found that liquidchromatography is unsuitable for TMP wastewater characteristics.The comprehensive experimental results showed that this wastewater contains alarge number of small molecule semi-volatile organic compounds, the pretreatmentliquid-liquid extraction is better, and GC/MS is more suitable for its analysis. TMP advanced treatment of wastewater is not suitable for coagulation and sedimentation,biological treatment can be considered. This article established a perfect water qualityanalysis method, and it can be a reference for the analysis of other water quality testingmethod. |
