As theproduct structure has a larger change in comparison with conventional alkyl benzenesulfonates, solubility of the product become better, activematter content increased, owesgoodthermal stability, the product is preferably biodegradable, is an kinds of environmentallyfriendly products.This paper used internal olefin as raw material，used sulfur trioxide-dioxane complexas the reagent for the sulfonation reaction， and then obtained the alkenyl sulfonic acids， bythe neutralization reaction obtained internal olefin sulfonate surfactant. Detected the seriesinternal olefin sulfonate （C18,C21,C24） with infrared spectroscopy showed that the productwas expected product. Detected the series internal olefin sulfonate （C18, C21,C24） with theinterfacial tension measurement， resulting internal olefin sulphonates can significantlyreduce the interfacial tension of oil， with a high interfacial activity; Detected the foamingproperties of the series internal olefin sulfonates （C18,C21,C24），know that internal olefinsulfonates has good foaming properties and stability of foam properties; Detected theemulsified performance of series internal olefin sulfonates （C18,C21,C24）， resulting thatinternal olefin sulfonates having good emulsifying properties and emulsion stability.
