Dechloranes, including Dechlorane602(Dec602), Dechlorane603(Dec603),Dechlorane604(Dec604) and Dechlorane Plus (DP), which is a kind of persistent organicpollutants, was widely used in electrical cableand Plastic shell of Electrical appliances as aemerging additive flame retardants. Dechloranes has been considered as a persistent organicpollutants (POPs), which has persistence, accumulation, transforation and toxicity. In thewater, sediments, soil and organisms of Dechloranes of standard analytical test methods havenot to be detected, but study of Dechloranes in the environmental occurrence, fate andbehavior issues, urgent need to develop sensitive and reliable detection of Dechloranesanalysis. Therefore, in this study, we choose Dechloranes as the research object, establishesthe multi-matrices (water, sediments, organisms) of the Dechloranes detection methods, andthe Dechloranes distribution at Ny-lesund of the Arctic a preliminary analysis.In this paper, a method was developed for the determination Dechloranes by GC-NCI/MS,in the atmospheric phase, discussed the The separated status of the different differentchromatographic column; in mass spectrometry, investigated different ion source, quadrupoletemperature, and each mass spectrum parameter to the influence in sensitivity. The objectivecompounds were determined by GC-NCI/MS in the selected ion-monitoring (SIM) mode witha15m DB-5HT capillary column, and the monitor ions are Dec602:610.0/608.5,Dec603:634.0/630.0,Dec604:608.0/569.0,syn-DP:651.0/648.0,anti-DP:651.0/649.0, respectively。In this study, a pre-treatment methods were developed for the determination Dechloranes inwater, sediments, soil and organisms. In water, the recoveries of Dechloranes ranged from61~91%, the detection limit were0.01,0.01,0.08,0.02and0.01ng/L; In sediment and soil,the recoveries of Dechloranes ranged from98~110%, the detection limit were3.47,3.16,24.62,8.01and1.75ng/g; In organisms, the recovery ranged from89~105%, the detectionlimits were3.43,3.10,20.10,7.50and1.82ng/g. the method of high sensitivity, goodreproducibility, high recovery, low detection limit, can monitore the water, sediment, soil andbiological samples of Dechloranes.In this parper, we also analysis seawater, sediments, soil, moss and biological samples ofDechloranes at Ny-lesund of the Arctic, and showed that the concentration of Dechloranesrange69~303pg/L in the water,116~885pg/g (dw) in the sediment,109~1139pg/g in soil,0.2~3.7pg/g (dw) in moss and40~598pg/g (dw) in the organism dung, and has carried on initial analysis to the monitoring data, found that Dechloranes pollution is light in the Arcticarea, and the concentrations of Dechloranes in multi-martrices at Ny-lesund of the Arcticwere lower obviousil than these in the other Asia and Eropean regions.
