The design for stamping performance and crash performance of thin-walledcomponent is always the key technology for restricting development rate of automobileproducts, Traditiona l optimization design ofen consider only stamping optimization orcrash optimization. The change of stamping technological paremeter inc lude thining,equiva lent plastic strain and residual stress will influence the crash performance.Consider of the stamping effect, sequential coupled nonlinear finite element analysisframework is developed to research the stamping and crash performance of thin-walledcomponent. A method of multi-objective optimization is used to improve stamping andcrash performance of the thin-walled component, while taking the stamping performanceand crash performance as optimization objective together. It previded new ideas for thedesign of stamping performance and crash performance. The result of the optimizationshows some parameter which influence the stamping quality and crash performance.At first, this text set out the background and significance of the research, discussedthe development situation of stamping performance and crash performance, andintroduce the theoretical knowledge of finite element modeling.Secondly, take thin-walled tube as research object and use finite element software toprocess stamping simulation, springback simulation. Use rupture,thin ing and springbackto evaluate stamping performance. Then map the information inc lude thining, equivalentplastic strain and residual stress into the crash model to make crash simulation. Use peakforce and total energy absorption to evaluate crash performance. A sequential couplednonlinear finite element analysis framework came to be built with it.Finally, take the geometry and technological parameter as design variable, based onthe sequential coupled nonlinear finite element analysis framework to buildmulti-objective optimization model to improve stamping performance and crashperformance. Choose suitable divide according to physical truth.This text depend on multi-objective optimization for stamping simulation and crashsimulation of thin-walled, balance stamping performance and crash performance,provide reference for stamping optimization and crash optimization in actual production.
