Its demisting mechanism is analyzed byelectrostatic enhancement fabric filtration theory. The demisting efficiency is calculated inseries mode according to interception, inertial collision and electrostatic mechanism.Thetheoretical demisting efficiency of the electrostatic vibrating grid is derived from fabricfiltration theory. The demisting efficiency comparison experiments with the normalvibrating grid demister are conducted on. The pressure drop of the electrostatic vibratinggrid demister is studied experimentally. The influences of filtration velocity, gas-liquid ratio and the vibrating grid layers onthe demisting efficiency are investigated experimentally. The results have shown that thedemisting efficiency monotonically increases with the vibrating grid layers. The demistingefficiency increases when the gas-liquid ratio increases. Furthermore, the demistingefficiency of the electrostatic vibrating grid demister has smaller difference compared withthe normal vibrating grid demister when the gas-liquid ratio is above0.015L/m3.Thedemisting efficiency increases with the filtration velocity increasing. The demistingefficiency decreases from82.66%to81.73%when the filtration velocity is above8m/s.An inflection point is located when the filtration velocity is at around8m/s.The pressure drop of the electrostatic vibrating grid demister is measured in thelaboratory conditions. The results have shown that the pressure drop increases when thevibrating grid layers increases. The pressure drop sharply increases with the filtrationvelocity increasing. A pressure drop correction method has been put forward. The pressuredrop is analyzed by fabric filter theory. The pressure drop has shown a linear correlationwith the vibrating grid layers. The linear correlation coefficient is0.998. | Keywords/Search Tags: | vibrating grid, electrostatic, demister, demisting efficiency, pressure drop | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
