The use of lubricating oil is common, it is an important material of mechanicalequipment and has a certain protective effect on mechanical equipment of high strength work,it has the extremely vital significance to improve the service life of the mechanical device.Due to the rapid development of industry, mineral lubricating oil base oil has been unable tomeet the people’s demand, research on the synthesis of lubricating oil has become a hotresearch area. With the development of petrochemical industry, the C4resource rich in Chinaand the use of C4resources are improve gradually. Using1-butene oligomerization syntheticslubricating oil to reduce the waste of1-butene resources, opens a new way of using abundantC4resources in China.Metallocene catalyst has high activity for olefin oligomerization reaction, in this paper,we studied oligomerization of1-butene or1-butene Co oligomerization with1-dodecatyleneby the catalyst system of bis(tetramethycyclopentadienyl) Zirconium dichloride and methylaluminoxane and synthesized high viscosity index of lubricating oil. The oligomer obtainedwas synthesized by1H-NMR、13C-NMR、IR and GPC methods. The effects of reactionconditions on catalytic activity and properties of oligomers were giscussion, including: thereaction temperature、 molar ratio of Al and Zr、 molar ratio of1-butene and1-dodecatylene、type of olefin copolymerization. Study results of the catalyst system ofbis(tetramethycyclopentadienyl) Zirconium dichloride and methyl aluminoxane show thatlubricating basic oil with high viscosity index was synthesized when the reaction temperatureis70℃、molar ratio of Al and Zr is100and molar ratio of1-butene and1-dodecatylene is13, viscosity of oligomers were measured at40℃and100℃respectively is1124mm2/s and67.08mm2/s, viscosity index is121.In this paper, using aluminum muriate catalyst to catalyze1-butene oligomerization or1-butene Co oligomerization with1-dodecatylene.The viscosity of synthetic basic oilsobtained by aluminum muriate at20℃were measured at40℃and100℃respectively is75.528mm2/s and9.577mm2/s, viscosity index is104, viscosity index is significantly lowercompared with metallocene catalyst.
