Abstract/Summary:
With the development of coal washing and processing technology, the conventional coal preparation process in our country is getting more and more mature. Most of the coal separating plant used dense medium for coarse coal separation and the flotation for slime. However, coarse coal slime which beyond the granularity separation standard could not been separated effectively. Accordingly, it resulted in the decrease of the quality and yield of commercial coal. Thus, how to recycle and separate coarse coal slime becomes a significant issue of the coal preparation plant. Recently, the slime dense medium coal preparation plant adopts curved screen and slime centrifuge and TBS of coarse coal slime separation recycling process equipment, etc. According to the previous analysis, each kind of separation equipment has certain adaptive range and limitations. Therefore, coal preparation plant should choose the proper coarse coal slime separation device by understanding the different characteristic of coal quality.This thesis researched the simulation and optimization of coarse coal separation system of Luling Coal Preparation Plant. Firstly, it analyzed the material properties and studied the performance of existing separation of coarse slime and desliming dehydration equipment of Luling Coal Preparation Plant. By combining the methods of field test and numerical simulation, it analyzed the flotation in float index of slime dense medium cyclone and mud recovery process directly off the slime under different conditions. In addition, it established each mathematical simulation model of gravity separation, separation of coarse slime, coarse slime recovery and flotation process. The matching relationship of coarse slime separation, coarse slime desliming and dehydration equipment has been discussed as well. This thesis, which studied the separation of coarse slime system simulation and optimization results, makes contribution to coal separating plant by providing the proper coarse slime recovery method adoption according to the selected materials and requirements for the product, which helps improve economic returns as well.
