| With the rapid development of social economy in China, the pollution of aquaticenvironment and the imbalance of aquatic ecological system have seriously limitedthe economy sustainability. How to maintain the existing of ecosystem servicefunctions and promote the balanced and sustainable development of river basinecosystem and social economy through reasonable planning and management havebeen a problem needs to be solved urgently. As an assessment tool and technicalmeans for water management, the ecosystem health evaluation assessment with thefunction of the analysis of aquatic ecosystem disturbance conditions and the functionof determining goals of environmental management and ecological restoration indifferent river sections has important significance for the management and recoveryof rivers, thus it becomes a hot research topic gradually.On the basis of summary and analysis of the research results about riverecosystem health and ecosystem service function at home and abroad, the currentresearch combines the result of the third level aquatic eco-functional zoning in LiaoheRiver Basin of Liaoning Province and aims at the economy-developing mode andpolution feature in Qinghe and Fanhe river, the main contents and achievementes areas follows:(1) The presentation and the development of the conception of river ecosystemhealth are introduced by refering to relevant research literatures, therelated definitionand connotation are summarized and compared to reveal the main differencesbetween different definitions. Main methods of river ecosystem health evaluation andthe practice at home and abroad are expounded, and the existing problems in thedevelopment of this field are also summarized.(2) The content, method, process and results of the third level aquaticeco-functional zoning in Liaohe River Basin of Liaoning Province are introduced.The11third level aquatic eco-functional zones of Qinghe River and Fanhe Riverbasins in northern Liaoning Province were selected as the basic evaluation unit in this paper. And the water ecological characteristics of each evaluation unit weresummarized.(3) The definition, classification and evaluation methods of water ecosystemservices function are studied and summarized, the relation with the connotation ofecosystem health was discussed, namely they are mutually influence, restraining eachother and complement each other. The evaluation indicator system of waterecosystem service function in Qinghe and Fanhe river was constructed, theImproved Analytic Hierarchy Process(IAHP) was adopted to evaluate the importanceof ecosystem service functions in Qinghe River and Fanhe River basins,the leadingservice function was identified.(4) On the basis of main ecosystem service function, and the identification andinvestigation of the main use of mode in each evaluation unit, the Improved FuzzyMathematics and Analytic Hierarchy Process(IAHP) were combined to construct theecosystem health evaluation model of Qinghe river and Fanhe river. Field samplingand related statistical data as the main data sources, criterion layer includes fivecontents (physical structure condition, water quality condition, aquatic organismscondition, human interference condition and the recovery condition), and19factorsconstructed the evaluation index system. The assessment results indicates that amongthe four third-level aquatic eco-functional zones of Fanhe River basin, three of themare in “healthy†state (IV-5-2, IV-5-3, IV-5-4) and one is in “in-general†state (IV-5-1).While among the seven third-level aquatic eco-functional zones of Qinghe Riverbasin, one is in “healthy†state (IV-5-11), two are in “sub-Healthy†state(IV-5-10,IV-5-12), two are in “in-general†state (IV-5-9, IV-5-13), and two are in “illness†state(IV-5-8, IV-5-14). The ecosystem health condition of Fanhe river is better thanQinghe river obviously. |
